SNP nabs high-rise laptop thief
Grosvenor Place is one of Sydney’s landmark buildings, rising 44 storeys above the city. The leading corporations who occupy the building regard security as a very serious matter, especially when targeted by a sophisticated thief that specialised in stealing laptops.
SNP’s Security Supervisor gave instructions to all the security team to be on high alert, over the weekend in question, implementing unusually tight lift access. The suspect was later observed behind the building by an external patrol, from then on his actions were monitored. After challenging the thief when he tried to access the upper floors, he was chased and apprehended. Police were called and an arrest was made.
The senior constable in charge of the case thanked the SNP Security team for a job well done, saying her life would be much easier if the Police could always rely on such good work from a security company.
Grosvenor Place management were equally delighted with this result, confident that their high profile tenants continued to be safe and secure.
